I am considering visiting the Three Natural Bridges near Wulong. I will be arriving there from Chongqing. However, since I will be traveling onwards to Wuhan, and since there seems to be a new railway station at Fengdu on the high speed line to Wuhan, I wondered if it is possible to travel from Wulong to Fengdu by bus or taxi? From the map it looks like a mountainous Road, what is the condition of it? Thanks a lot!

If your destination is Wuhan, there is no need to Fengdu for a transfer. Also no direct bus is available from Wulong to Fengdu. I suggest you take a long-distance bus from Wulong to Fuling in 1.5-2 hours. There catch a bullet train to Wuhan. During my last trip in 2013, this journey had no highway and some routes are a little dangerous. But the general road condition can be acceptable.

At Wulong Bus Station, buses to Fuling are available from 06:20 to 18:00 every 20min. You can easily catch one.
