When will you travel there? There are many Mongolian yurts for your choice at Xilamuren, so it is flexible to check in one on the spot. I just tried and the yurts reservations are only with Chinese versions, not that convenient for you. These yurts have modern facilities and you can even take a shower.

Thank you for your reply. I just want to make sure that to check in one on the spot is quite risky.

I will be there with my family( 7 of us) in july 2016.I want to make a fixed itinerary therefore I really want to know how to book at Xilamuren yurts in advance.and also I want to know the price for the rent. Thank you Metta.

Well, generally speaking, the price is CNY 100 to 200 per night.
Actually, the booking website doesn't have Chinese version. So do you have Chinese friends? If yes, you can ask them for help.

Can you send me a link to the Chinese website? I can speak Chinese so it's not a problem for me. We might be a bigger group coming next year in June, so I think it is neccessary to book the yurts. Thank you very much. Renata
