What Choice Should I Choose?

So im a sheep, and my best friend is dating a monkey and she is a monkey as well. however we are in summer camp (not summer school js) and his planning to break up with her at the end of summer camp, and he told me, and i feel bad for keeping it from her, reason i didn't tell her is cause i don't wanna be the one to break her heart. My best friend doesn't seem to care about her. however his girlfriend cares SOO much about him, she talks about him etc. But he doesn't seem to care. It was fine the first week. Now it's just gone downhill. So i wanna ask what choice should i make? Should i tell her so she wouldn't be heartbroken? Or should i keep this to myself, cause my best friend doesn't want me to tell her. But im leading into that choice to tell her, so help me here. What should i pick?
(P.S. I DONT want to see her be heartbroken and know i betrayed her and i feel like my best friend is being an asshole for doing this because his basically dating her for no reason.) So then again what choice?

Kayleen, it's really a dilemma. If you don't tell her, you feel scared because you already know this. If you tell her the truth that her BF told you he was going to break with her, then I am afraid that your friend might become suspicious. Why did he tell you? Did he have an affair with you? On the other hand, what if he didn't admit what he said to you?

So I think you can try to tell her indirectly. If their relationship isn't good, then you might remind her whether there is something wrong. You can pretend to make a guess "Is possible that he has someone else". Then I think your friend will be alert.

No Nick i never had an affair or any relationship interecations with him, plus i told her and shes gonna break up with him. Reason i told her is cause there relationship isn't even good, so it's now or later that i couldve told her that he was going to break up with her, and i decided now, and she's going to break up with him otherwise
