Will the host family need a licence from the FDA to receive the insuline?

Hello,
Our daughter will go to China for 9 months. We would like to send to the host family in China already some insuline bottles (4x10ml). Is this possible?

Nico, I am afraid that you might not be able to send the insuline. First, you need to confirm with your customs and post office if it is ok to send them. Second, I don't think that Chinese customs will let them pass. The insuline can be found at many Chinese hospitals too.

And your daughter can get the medical certificate and her doctor's prescription in order to bring insuline on her own.
