About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

If i am a us citizen going to be in HK and would love to visit Beijing, how can i get this visa?

If i book a rountrip ticket from HKG for under 3 days would that qualify? Or do i need to travel specificity out of mainland? and does it have to be one ticket or can it be 2 separate tickets? what's my best bet to get to Beijing?

Thanx!!

Jarad, if you fly from HK to Beijing and then back, the route is not eligible. You may choose to fly from HK to Beijing and then fly to Macau, this route is OK for the 72-hour free transt policy. One-way ticket or two separate tickets are all acceptable.
