About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

entering and exiting china

as an alternative to flying into or out, is it possible for uk nationals to enter or leave via a tibetan border crossing or do i specifically have to fly in and out?

It's possible to enter or leave via Tibet, but you need to get a Tibetan travel permit through travel agencies in advance.
