application for visapick up

Question

so I'm a bit confused...I plan to travel to China on 17 August and plan to apply in person at the consulate for a visa next Thursday. I just found out you can't pick up on same day. So does this sound possible...apply in person at consulate and do they then post your materials or do u have to go up to the consulate again to pick up?

Jess, if you are in Australia, actually you need to apply through CVASC. You can submit the application by posts and the office will send your passport back after your application is approved. You don't have to apply in person.
