Hi thereNext year i would like to study at a univeristy for a year. With an x1 visa i only get issued with 1 entry from the chinese embassy in Mauritius. When i apply for the temporary residence permit ( before 30 days after first entry) can i also apply for a multiple entry? Seeing as i might have to travel outside of china during my one year stay.

Romy, you don't need to apply for the multiple entry at all. With the temporary residence permit, you can travel in and out China freely.
