can i apply for tourist visa in chiang mai

My family and I are us citizens on vacation in Thailand.  Can we apply for 10 year Chinese tourist type?  What do we need to provide?

Michael, you can apply for tourist type entry permit from Thailand, but I'm not sure whether you can get the 10 year one from there. Anyway, you need to submit the following materials for applying the 10-year tourist type: passport (valid for at least one year), passport copy, application form, recent passport style photo, original and photocopy of Thai entry permit, and flight tickets and hotel reservations or an invitation letter from China.
