Help.Stairs in the middle of house

Hello Everyone,
Very good and helpful article. We are moving home and the stairs of the house we are moving in is at the middle of the house. The house layout is divided by a wall partition at the middle separating the living room and the kitchen and the stairs is at the living room side against the middle wall partition. Would someone please advise if this is good or not and what can we do to promote good feng shui? Thank you very much.
