About:2025 / 2026 / 2027 Public Holiday Calendar

Do Chinese people usually go to Hong Kong or to Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia or Thailand in this holiday?

I want to go to China next year, from 10th/Set to 8th/Oct, but I’m afraid of the National Day. So I was wondering if Hong Kong or another country would be better to go in the last week. Thanks!!

In recent years, more and more Chinese people travel abroad during their holidays. National Day Holiday last for 7 days. So you might encounter many Chinese guys in HK, Thailand and Malaysia especially. Compared with domestic travellers, the number of Chinese people who go abroad is comparatively smaller.

So I personally don't think it's a good idea to go to HK during the holiday. Other countries you mentioned are ok.
