About:China Work Visa

Do I have to return to my home country to apply for a Z-Visa?

Or can I do it in China or Hong Kong.

Nowadays, it's getting hard to apply for the Z type in mainland or Hong Kong. You can first try to get one in mainland. In case that you fail to get it, you can consult an agency in Hong Kong and see if you can get one from there. If their answer is no, you have to return to your home and set about the application.
