About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Hi what is the visa fee to china holding Australia passport?

also can I apply first then book my air ticket and Hotel later? Also can I go to Chinese Embassy to apply personally will I get it on the spot?

Teresa, the fee is 109.5 Australian dollars if you apply from the CVASC branch in Australia. You can either go there personally or apply through posts. If you apply in person, you can't get the entry permit on the spot because you have to wait for four working days to process the application.

If you can provide an invitation letter from China, then you can apply first and then book flights and hotels. If the invitation letter cannot be provided, you have to book accommodation and tickets prior to the application.
