About:China Visa on Arrival

Urgent VOA from Guangzhou for USA citizen

I have been asked to inspect a piece of equipment during repairs by insurers. I would travel to Guangzhou and then to a factory in a different province. I need to be there by Friday. Would it be possible for me to get a VOA?

It‘s possible to get the VOA, but the insurer has to send an invitation to you and you need to tell the immigration office about your intention to get the VOA before your travel. If they give you a positive answer, then you can book your flights and fly to Guangzhou.
