About:China Visa Application Requirements

Proof of entry to China

Hello. We will be traveling to PRC overland. I understand I need to prove I'm leaving but I've read that I need to provide details of my overland trip to there from the UK! This seems ridiculous. Would a train ticket from Mongolia to Beijing suffice or do we really need to have proof of our entire trip? Thanks.

Liz, the train ticket isn't enough. You need to prove that you leave China so that a train/flight ticket out of PRC is required. If you can provide detailed itineraries of your whole trip, you will have a higher chance of getting the visa.
