About:China Visa

I am indian applying for L visa. Do i need to show financial statement records?

hello i am indian. i am applying for china (guangzhou) my family friend giving me invitation. this would my first time going to china i have following doubts
1. Do i need to book flights before applying?
2. Do i need to submit my financial(dad's) statements?
3. Does the one sending invitation should submit their financial statement?

Hi Athul!
1. You don't need to book flights before applying.
2. The financial statement of yourself or your sponsor is required.
3. The inviter does not need to submit the financial statement.

so i don't need to book air ticket. I can just apply for the visa with these document (Application / passport / invitation letter / financial)
My friends say that i need Return air ticket shown.? is that true.? i thought the letter is enough for one. (I'm planning on staying there for at least 3-6 months)

If you have the invitation letter, the air tickets and hotel booking are not required.
