Which public bus to take to get from civil aviation building to Bravo Hotel (South Ronghu Road)
I just got cheated by an evil series of taxi drivers in Beijing and have heard that many taxi drivers refuse to use the meter when they see Americans (which of course is illegal but no one seems to care or enforce it).
I plan on taking the shuttle bus from the Guilin airport to the Civil Aviation Mansion (#18 Shanghai Road).
I cannot however find ANY public bus schedules online let alone those in English.
I am a teacher and cannot afford another 400RMB taxi ride that should really only cost 60-80RMB.
Is anyone out there able to tell me what public bus to take to go from Shanghai Road to my hotel (Hotel Bravo)?
The Hotel Bravo is located at 14 South Ronghu Road....
I have walked over 150km in my three weeks in China and I am not adverse to a bit of walking to find a proper bus station and walking a bit to my hotel but I have all of my luggage with me (20kg) and can't easily move around.
On Google maps, this trip is only about 2.8 km which I'd walk in a heart beat if I didn't have 20kg of luggage and if it didn't take me on major roads that might not have sidewalks.
Most of the people I have met in China have been kind, caring, and gracious people but that Taxi driver in Beijing has me really worried that the taxi drivers outside of Nanjing are just evil and will try to cheat the lao wai. I don't want to have to deal with the stress of that again.
Someone PLEASE help me if you can! Thank you SO much!
