About:Visa Policy of China

Can I apply for a Visa on behalf of my daughter who is currently in Australia?

She is 19 and is living in Australia as a tourist. She will be traveling to Thailand from July 6 to July 19. After that, she will fly to Shanghai for a trip from July 20 to July 31. Am I able to apply for a visa on her behalf. If so, can I electronically send it to her.
Thank You, Jean

Jean, you can't apply for her as she is not in America now. She should apply from Australia or Thailand on her own.
