About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

What if I have less than 6 months left on my passport? Does this matter to get trasit transit-visa?

I am going from Melbourne via Beijing with final destination Stockholm in Sweden with a swedish passport.

John, the 6-month remaining validity is not required when crossing the border, so I think it will not affect your getting the transit permit. You can double check this with the embassy or relevant port office.
