About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

I have been given the opportunity to teach TEFL in China.

i am thinking of applying for P.R if i have to stay longer For work, how long would i have to stay in the country if i have to get it? & How?

Roz, if you don't have direct relatives in China, you have to get married with a Chinese to obtain the permanent residence permit. After you marry, you should live in China for five consecutive years and shall live in China no less than nine months every year with financial guarantee for living and a residence. That is, you may need to buy a house or rent an apartment for a long term.
