About:Chinese Consulate in Calgary

As a Canadian citizen do I have to fill out line 1.9 - Local ID/Citizenship Number?

I am filling out my visa application. I don't know what this is.

Cal, you need to fill out this line. You can type in your SIN card number or Driving License number.
