can i get a visa on arrival at guangzhou east railway station i am british with uk

HiI understand I can get a VOA at Guangzhou East Railway Station, I am British with full British Passport. Does anyone know if this is available and is there a length on staying or travelling elsewhere in China on this VOA if granted.Currently stuck in Hong Kong as arrived today and found my current one has expired.Regards

Raymond, there is no VOA in Guangzhou. However, you can apply for the VOA for Shenzhen. But it just allows you to stay in Shenzhen only. If you plan to visit Guangzhou, you should apply for a L type from the office of the commissioner of the Minsitry of Foreign Affairs of PRC in HK.
