About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

one way air to Tianjin from Australia then staying 48-72 hrs before departing to go in a cruise

Pls advise if visa required for one way air arriving to Tianjin from Australia 11am Saturday - staying Sunday and going to the cruise port at 3 pm for a 6pm sailing cruising Asia including a day stop in Shanghai . The flight back Australia one way will be from KL

OZ, you are disqualified for 72 hours free transit in Tianjin because it requires "fly in and fly out". So you should apply for a tourist or transit type in advance before you go.
