Moving Date and Move-In Date

I am relocating from Singapore to Malaysia in Aug this year and have planned to take over the new house on 7th August when we fly there on this date and delivery of personal belongings on 8th Aug. Are these two dates good ones and what should I do at the moment when I get into the new home in order to create positive vibes and good chi so that all will live happily, healthily and all smooth sailing for my career and school for my daughter when we move in.

AL, August 7 and 8 are good dates. You can move out on August 7 and move into your new home on August 8. Well, there are actually some rules you need to follow:
1. Be the first one to enter your new home. Don't let the porter be the first one enter your new home.
2. When you enter your new home, please bring some necessities, including rice, water, chopsticks and bowels, oven and broom with a red cloth stripe tied on. Of course, these things are for Chinese people. For you, you can bring water, food, forks and bowels, oven and broom.
3. Bring a small portion of earth from your old house to your new house.
4. Do not forget to set off firecrackers.

For health and happiness, it has something to do with Feng Shui theories. I am not an expert on Feng Shui.
