About:China Visa Application in USA

Traveling to China, unknown time/date. What type of visa would we both need?

I am planning a trip to three countries with one of my friends. My friend is originally from Shanghai, and will be moving to the U.S sometime before January. The two of us are planning to go to China, Japan, and Korea for one month in each country within the next few years when we get the money to travel. And is it possible to get them issued for the same time frame? I've never traveled outside of the U.S before so I'm trying to figure things out ahead of time. Thanks

Kayla, usually the applicants are suggested to apply around one month ahead of their trips. They can apply no early than three months before their actual trips. In your situation, you might try to apply for a 10 years L type from Chinese consulate. The requirements are the same as ordinary L type. If you acquire it, then you can enter anytime before it expires (10 years later since the day you applied).
