How do I apply for work permit if I want to work in Hong Kong as a Canadian citizen?

I want to work in Hong Kong in September, how do I get a work permit? what do I need to prepare? how long will it take to receive my work permit? thanks

Jason, you don't need to apply for the work permit if you plan to work in HK. Instead, you should submit filled ID990 application form together with a recent passport photo, copies of your passport information page and previous entry permits (if any), diploma and related working experience proofs. Meanwhile, your employer should submit filled ID990B form, copies of the contract, a copy of business license, company financial report, company introduction materials and what the company engages in.

The whole application needs to be done in four to six weeks.
