About:Visa Policy of China

Do I need a visa to attend a conference?

I wish to attend a conference on Montessori Education in Shanghai. I would like to arrive from the US August 9th and return to the US August 12th.

Joyce, the entry permit is needed. However, if you want to avoid applying for it, you can fly from the US to Hong Kong and then to Shanghai. After the meeting, fly directly from Shanghai to the US.
