About:Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh

I need a no criminal record (disclosure Scotland) document Authenticated in Edinburgh.

Is this able to be done over the counter at the embassy?

Carl, do you plan to use this document in China? If yes, the consulate can authenticate it for you. Before the authentication, you should go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its authorized agencies to notarize the document first.

Hi Carl, do you know how long it takes when I give the Police certificate to the China Embassy for the stamp approval, do you know if I can hand it in and take it with me on the same day or I need to leave it there ?

Joey, it takes four working day in general. If you want it to be faster, you can use the express service, so that the process only takes two working days. However, you can't get it on the same day.
