Medical report needed?

I have a residency permit that will expire while I'm in my home country. I plan on getting a temporary visa in order to return to China and then will get the residency permit when I'm back. All of my paperwork has been taken care of by my employer, but since I have to leave before I have a chance to renew the residency permit, I'm wondering if I'll have to do the medical check again when i return?

Yes, I think you need to do the medical check again after you return to China. The medical report is needed to get the residence permit.
