letter from italy to shanghai

hi, I would send a letter to a friend of mine and he works at Hongta luxury hotel like a chef...the question is the following: how can I write his address? In English or in Pinyin? thanks for the answer...

Both can be ok, but English is better. You can write as follows: No. 889, Dongfang Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, China.
