About:Chinese Zodiac

Am I a Tiger or an Ox in 2016?

Hi, I was born 20th January 1962 and have been a tiger in my chinese horoscopes up until about 15 years ago, since then I have been an Ox, I understand it's got something to do with the start of the new year, please can you let me know if I am going to be tiger in 2016

Thea, a person's zodiac sign won't change as time goes by. According to your birth date, you are Ox. I don't know how you figured out that you were Tiger.

yes January 20th 1962 is still year of the ox.

Thanks, I don't know how I worked it out either for years I had it that I was a Tiger until about 15 years ago, maybe something to do with the start of the Chinese new year, never mind being an Ox is good.

You are confusing the Lunar Calendar and Solar Calendar. The LNY is different each year on the Solar Calendar, but what is done is done. Your sign won't change until you are re-born
