Do I need a transit permit??

Hello
We are going from Houston to beijing and beijing to delhi. There is a stop over of 15 hours and we are planning to stay at a hotel for the stop over.
We are Indian Citizen. Do we need the visa (since we leaving airport but not Beijing) or transit permit will be ok.
Thanks

Rick, you don't need the transit permit. If you want to leave the airport, you can apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport.
