About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

attestation/notary

I need to get my MBBS degree notarized. I'm a Sri Lankan. I don't know if my embassy wants it notarized by the Ministry of Education or Foreign Affairs in China and how long it will take. The Sri Lankan embassy is not picking up any of my calls and I have no one to ask in China. Should I go to MOE or Foreign Affairs? How long will it take? How long will the Sri Lankan embassy take to notarize my documents? Need to know that too.

Saman, did you get your MBBS degree from China? If so, you should get it notarized by the PRC Ministry of Education. Then take the notarized document to the Sri Lankan embassy to have it authenticated. Sorry, I'm not sure how long it will take.

Thank you Bernnie for your reply. I really appreciate it. Yes the degree is from a university in China.
