Both of social network can't work. If you want to use the other banned sites, simply download VPN on your laptop or phone, and you are able to access it as well.1

In some places yes they do work. Just get yourself a VPN app and you will be able to access. This holds true for Google applications as well, though Google maps still works either way, some of the street names are not in English but still can figure out where to go easy enough. Get Metroman app for the subway in all major cities0
