About:Mount Huashan

Which peak should I go for

Hi, I have only 1 day in Huashan and need to catch the high speed train back to Xi an on the same day. I would like to climb only 1- 2 peak and tried some dangerous path. Can anyone suggest which peak shall I go for? I am planning to go down by cable car.

i suggest you should climb from the north peak first by cable,and then two hours later you can go to the west peak,then go down by cable,the view is great,time is enough back by bullet train

Well, to be honest, one day is enough for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountain if you don't see the sunrise.
Most tourists choose to start from Yuquan Temple and climb to East Peak first. Then tour around South and West Peak. After that, take the cable car to go down. The South Peak is regarded as the most dangerous and exciting peak.
