About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

visa for 3 months, please advise how to get.

i am in India. my daughter lives there and his husband work in hong kong for 6 yrs. i intend to join them for 3 months as my daughter is on family way.

Preet, you should submit your application to Chinese consulate or embassy in your country at least one month ahead of your trip because it usually takes four to six weeks. However, it might take long time if there is something wrong. In your case, you should apply for a L type. It requires:
1. filled ID1003A application form
2. copies of passport information page and previous entry prmit (if any)
3. a recent passport photo
4. flight itineraries and accommodation
5. financial proof, such as recent six months bank statement, pay slips and employment certificate
