About:Exit Regulations of China

Can I enter China in a car (driven from Mongolia) but then exit by plane?

I would have purchased the car in London, driven across to PRC, and would like to leave / sell / gift the car there. Will I be allowed to leave the country without the car if I arrived in it? Thanks!

Brooke, it's very complicated to drive abroad to mainland China. According to what I found on the internet, you need to contact some qualified Chinese travel agencies and ask if they can arrange car tours. On the other hand, those who don't have Chinese driver license are not allowed to drive in PRC. In order to acquire driver license, you need to join the traffic law test arraned by local traffic management bureau. Unortunately, you need to finish the examination on computer and all questions are written in Chinese.
