Cheapest way from guangzhou to nanning

im on low budget backpacking and it is my first time reaching china.. can u tell me which one is cheapest, is it bus or train?? Or combination of this two transports?

The cheapest way is to take a regular normal train with a hard seat. It only costs CNY105, while takes 12-13 hours. Another option is the long-distance bus with sleepers, which leave from the Provincial Bus Station or Yuexiu South Bus Station. It takes around 8 hours and the fare is CNY150.
