About:Lantau Island

I will be having a brief halt in HongKong for 6hrs, will it be possible to visit Big Buddha?

My flight will land at 2:00 PM on Sunday 21st June and I have my connecting flight at 9:15 PM same day. Would visiting Big Buddha be viable and if so what would be the best way to make it. Alternatively, if this is not an option, is there a market nearby for electronics/toys/kitchenware that I can go to in this gap that I have. I should be back in Airport by 7:30 PM at least. Please advise.

I'm afraid you don't enough time to visit the Big Buddha, because you may have to queue up for a long time for the cable car. If interested, you can go to Disneyland for entertainment, where you can spend 3-4 hours.

For shopping, these things are available in the airport. Aside from that, you can take a taxi or take shuttle bus line S1 to Tung Chung and walk to the nearby Citygate to find these things.
