About:Xian Taxi

Is it safe to catch a taxi from Xianyang Airport at midnight?

I will be arriving at Xianyang Airport at almost midnight in late August 2015. Is it safe for a female to take a taxi from the airport at this hour to Sofitel Xian On Renmin Square Hotel at 319 Dong Xin Street, Shaanxi.
Is it easy to get a taxi at midnight at the Airport?
How long is the trip to the hotel & how much will it cost. Thank you for your kind assistance.

Yes, generally speaking, you don't need to worry about the safety problem.
There are always several regular taxies outside the airport.
If by taxi, it takes around 40 to 50 mins on the way. And the cost is CNY 130 to 140 in the night.

the fare is always for the taxi.
Be sure to use a taxi and not a private car offering a taxi service.
