About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Changing planes in Hong Kong en route to Beijing. Is this OK for a 72 hr transit visa?

My China Air flight from London to Beijing is via Hong Kong. I want to stay in Beijing for 3 days and then return to Hong Kong for 1 week before returning to London.

Gordon, I'm afraid this route is not eligible. You are suggested to fly directly fromLondon to Beijing so as to make use of this 72-hour free transit policy.
