extend visa for 30 day multi entry

Hi

I currently have a chineses Z type that will end July 15th. I want to travel for a few weeks after this date so want to know if i can extend the Z type before returning back to the UK

Lorraine, you can go to the local exit and entry administration office to convert the Z type to an L type seven days before the current Z type expires.
