About:China Family Reunion Visa

I want to get Q1 visa (1 year).

In application form, section 2.5 asks for (longest intended stay in China among all entries) what should I write here? since I'm applying for 1 year Q1 should I write 360 days or what's the recommendations? because after I get to china I must get the residence permit and the duration of stay will be decided over there or what?
thanks

Clarie, you can write one year or 12 months. Yes, when you enter, you need to change your Q1 type into a temporary resident permit. At this moment, your partner's finance plays a very important role. You know, you can not work with Q1 type. Thus, your partner needs to support you. If he can prove that he has enough money to support your life for at least a year, then you should be able to acquire the one year resident permit.

So you may deposit money in your partner's account if she doesn't have enough money.

Clarie, Q1 type you got just has 30 days duration of stay. So you needn't specify it on the application form. The consular makes their decision on their own. Your words won't affect their decision.
