About:Chaka Salt Lake

How can I go to Chaka Salt Lake from Shanghai

I plan to take a train to Tibet but lucky me that i Have a chance to read this! I'm very interested to go there so can you tell me how can I go there from Shanghai? July is a good time to go right?

You can take a train from Shanghai Railway Station, get off at Xining Railway Station first.
Then take a long-distance bus at Xining Bus Station, get off at Chaka Town.
As I know, the bus schedules are 7:45, 8:00 and 15:00.
After arriving, take a taxi or hire a private car to get to the lake.
You can also hire a car from Xining to get there directly. About 500-600 per day.
July is one of the best months to visit the place. Have fun~
