Luoping or Shilin to Yuanyang (via Kaiyuan)

Hello,
maybe you could give us a suggestion> start will be Luoping
think about from Luoping or Shilin to Yuanyang (via Kaiyuan) should be shorter bus maybe more complicated?
do you think we save time instead of >>>
go back from Luoping to Kunming and than by bus direct to Yuanyang (night bus option)?
Thank you so much .. read so many blogs but not sure yet :/

From Luoping to Yuanyang, there is no direct bus, so you are suggested to transit in Kaiyuan.
From Luoping Bus Station, there are many buses to Kaiyuan. Upon arrival, take a connecting bus to Yuanyang. If you go back to KM and take a bus to Yuanyang, it need more time and you detour the route. The bus schedule is also few.

If you leave from Shilin, you are suggested to go back to KM, then take another bus from KM South Bus Station to Yuanyang.

As I know, the earliest schedule from Luoping to Kaiyuan is at 07:50. You are suggested to start off at that time.
From Kaiyuan to Yuanyang, it takes around 3 hours on the way.

Thanks a lot .. so it seems to try the Kaiyuan trip from Luoping and than to yuanyang .. when we start in the early morning from Luoping what do you think how much time it will take to get to yuanyang Xinxji? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
