I am coming from Canada to India via any airport in China. Please note that I am having Indian passport.

Hi, if you transit in mainland China for less than 24 hours, you don't need the transit permit. In this case, if you want to go outside the airport, you should apply for a temporary stay permit on the spot after your arrival. If your transit time is more than 24 hours, you need to apply for a G type in advance. With this G type, you can leave the airport.
