Can he fall in love with me? Male Horse and Female Monkey

We are from different continent he's Asian and I am Black (African) we have been friends since 2 years and I love but am not sure of how he feels about me, so I don't Jeopardize our friendship coz I would rather have him as a friend than lose him.
