About:Hong Kong Airport Bus

NEED INFO ON HOW TO GET FROM HKIA TO HOTEL ON NATHAN ROAD.

Could you please tell me
1) How to get from airport to Nathan Road hotel? (not sure which hotel yet)
2) If its ok that we have 5 adults, 5 large luggage, and 5 carry-ons?
3) How much it will cost? Roundtrip if possible?
4) We are only staying 2 nights. Will we need to rent a car?

You can take bus no.A21 at Airport (Ground Transportation Centre), get off at Cameron Road, Nathan Road directly. The whole way takes around 65 mins. And the ticket fare is 33HKD per person for the single trip. The return way is the same. There are enough luggage racks to put your luggage.

In my opinion, it's not necessary for you to rent a car. The transportation in this place is quite convenient. And almost every road and bus stop have English signs. So it's easy for you to find the right directtion.

Thanks Vivian. But our problem is then getting from the bus drop off point to our actual hotel with 5 ladies and all that luggage. I was told that taxis are not allowed to stop on Nathan Road. So it would be tough to walk 2 or 3km with all that luggage. Does anyone have anymore ideas about that??? Even if the Taxi's could stop or be called, we wouldn't all fit along with all our luggage so it would take 2 taxis. I was told that it would cost $50 per taxi, plus $5 per luggage. OUCH!

So the best choice for you is to book the hotel in advance, so you can chosse to get off at the nearest stop from your hotel, then you don't need to walk that long or take a taxi. Or when you get off, you can ask the hotel staff to pick up your luggage with one car, and youc an walk to the hotel. Don't worry, it will be a long walking distance, you can cover that easily. Nathan Road is not that long, and the area is not that large as you expect.
