About:Fenghuang Ancient Town

a day in Fenghuang town

i'm planning to visit zhangjiajie somewhere in august, but apparently have not included this place in the itinerary yet. since i won't be able to extend my holiday to much longer period, is it possible to cover this place within a day? i'm planning to stay at least 2 nights here and have one full day to wander around etc.

Yes, according to your situation, it's possible to tour around that ancient town.
Two days are enough for you to visit Zhangjiajie Scenic Area. So you can go to the town in the afternoon of the second day. Have a good trip!
