My friend will be traveling to the Philippines on board the China Airlines. Is it okay to send hard cheese as hand carry?

Maria, according to my knowlege, passengers can take cheese on board. But I am not sure if you can take it into Philippines. It just depends on Filipino customs. China Airlines should know about this. You can ask your friend to consult with airline.
